PTTGC Receives 3Rs Waste Management Award

Mr. Suvit Tinnachote, Executive Vice President, Group Performance Center - Olefins of PTT Global Chemical Plc (PTTGC) received a plaque in recognition of PTTGC's successful waste management under the 3R principles (reduce-reuse-recycle) together with a certificate awarded for piloting a project on making use of waste from industrial plants. The award presentation ceremony was held to announce the results of the Industrial Works Department's "2011 Waste Utilization Development" program. PTTGC received three awards from two activities, i.e. 3Rs waste management program at olefins plant (branch II) and olefins plant (branch III), and a pilot project on making use of industrial waste at olefins plant (branch II). The awards were presented by Mr. Supap Kleekajai, assistant to Minister of Industry on February 14, 2012 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

On the same occasion, Mr. Thawan Benjamala, an engineer from SHE section of PTTGC olefins plant (branch I) participated in a discussion forum held as part of this event on the topic "3Rs for Waste Management in the Thai industry".
