Chonburi, 1 December 2025 – PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) participated in the annual sustainability event, “WeCYCLE Day – Together, We Shape the Future,” hosted by WHA Corporation Public Company Limited (WHA Group), to strengthen collaboration with key national partners and highlight the tangible achievements of the WeCYCLE initiative in transforming “waste” into “valuable resources” under the circular economy concept.

One of the key outcomes achieved during 2022–2025 is the ““Khor Khuad Khong Ter” (Your Bottle, Please) project, a collaboration between GC and WHA to collect post-consumer plastics for recycling and upcycling processes. The initiative also integrates innovation using water hyacinth fibers derived from WHA’s wastewater treatment system to develop environmentally friendly products and deliver benefits to local communities. Over the past four years, the project has successfully collected more than 82 tons of used plastic.

For GC, its collaboration under the WeCYCLE initiative reflects the company’s commitment in driving systematic plastic waste management and creating new value from discarded resources through the circular economy principles. This aligns with GC’s Net Zero ambition and its High Value–Low Carbon business direction, aimed at fostering sustainable growth across the industrial value chain.
