One of the most tangible reflections of this transformation can be seen in Rayong. More than 35 years ago, we laid the foundation of our chemical business there. Today, we are creating a new growth model through the establishment of the allnex Southeast Asia Hub, further enhancing the potential of Map Ta Phut as a regional center for specialty chemicals. This hub integrates resources, geography, innovation, and environmental responsibility, driving the development of practical downstream solutions; from automotive and electronics to construction materials. We are also maximizing the potential of allnex, having organized an analyst visit to the China Hub to strengthen confidence in our business direction, which was met with highly positive feedback. Additionally, we officially launched a new Hub in India, reaffirming allnex’s role as both a regional production base and a research center. At the same time, GC and allnex are jointly developing biobased coating technologies, creating distinctive solutions that meet market needs and pave the way for long-term, sustainable growth.

While we continue to advance our Specialty Chemicals business, a high-potential sector with strong global demand, we also place great importance on maintaining a balanced portfolio by strengthening our Commodity Chemicals business. This balance ensures the overall sustainability and stability of our operations.

In addition, GC continues to advance its Green, Bio, and Circular businesses in a systematic and strategic manner; not merely following a global trend, but because we recognize it as essential to preserving environmental quality. We are continuously developing a range of recycled products, bioplastics, oleochemicals, and biofuels, and are preparing to open our second bioplastics plant at the Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex in 2026. This new facility will add value to agricultural feedstocks and expand Thailand’s opportunities in the global market.

Another key focus area for us is business risk management. GC is Thailand’s first fully integrated biorefinery, achieved not by building new plants, but by maximizing existing infrastructure through co-processing technology; converting used vegetable oil into high-quality biobased products that serve as feedstocks for industries such as packaging, automotive, electronics, and even aviation fuel. Recently, Bangkok Airways officially announced the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), jet fuel produced from used vegetable oil by GC — for its commercial flights. This milestone marks a new chapter for Thailand’s green aviation industry, laying a strong foundation for environmentally balanced aviation development in the years to come.
