GC Joins PTT Group in Delivering Urgent Relief to Southern Communities Affected by the Most Severe Flooding in History

Bangkok, 1 December 2025 – PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), together with PTT Group, has delivered urgent relief to communities in Songkhla province affected by the most severe flooding in history. GC, in collaboration with NPC, a company within GC Group, deployed an emergency response team to reinforce the PTT Group SEALs in Songkhla province to support flood relief operations in Southern Thailand. The assistance mission has been underway since 24 November and will continue until the situation eases.
In addition, GC joined PTT in a relief supply packing activity at PTT Headquarters, headed by Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited, together with GC executives including Mr. Saroj Putthammawong, Chief Operating Officer – Value-Added Products, and Ms. Kornkamol Korpaisarn, Executive Vice President Executive Vice President – Strategy, Business Development and Commercial Excellence, as well as employees, as well as employees from PTT Group. The team packed survival kits containing food, drinking water, and essential items before loading them onto trucks for delivery to flood-affected areas.
Additional support provided by GC in this relief effort included:
- 400 relief bags, packed by GC Group employees last week and transported from Rayong to the affected areas through the PTT Group SEALs team
- 10 rowing boats, donated to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation
- 2 motorboats, donated to the Royal Thai Navy, through the Royal Thai Marine Corps, to support access to flooded areas and future emergency use
- 500 upcycled blankets, donated to the Royal Thai Navy, through the Royal Thai Marine Corps, and the PTT Group SEALs team for further distribution to affected communities
