Being a global leader in the resin coatings, allnex manufactures and sells industrial coatings and additives used with a variety of materials such as wood, metal, and plastic. allnex is also a leader in offering solutions of in the application and development of industrial coatings for metals, automobiles, and packages. This investment was a big step forward for GC in increasing its portfolio of chemical products, which strengthens itself as a leader in chemical products and integrates environmentally friendly innovations with state-of-the-art technology. GC will be a long-term strategic partner, helping allnex improve access to the Asia Pacific market and to expand into emerging markets through future investments. GC PRESENTED UPCYCLED CHAIRS TO THE FACULTY OF FISHERIES, KASETSART UNIVERSITY FOR USE IN A CO-WORKING SPACE AND VISITED THE MARINE SCIENCE DEPARTMENT’S MARINE DEBRIS REDUCTION UNIT GC presented upcycled chairs to the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University to use in a co-working space for students to use, to learn, exchange knowledge, be creative, or read. GC also presented red trash bags for infectious waste and contactless red bins with foot pedals as part of its “How to Yeak...How to Manage Infectious Waste” Project to encourage waste sorting and proper infectious waste disposal to prevent contamination and the spread of disease at Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University. The upcycled chairs were made of materials composed of 30-40% plastic. The seat cushion was made from waste plastic resins from the Waste Side Story exhibition that GC organized at Bangkok Design Week 2018. The chair structures were made with a wood-plastic composite made by mixing polyethylene (PE) from plastic bag handles with natural waste materials such as sawdust.
