Stakeholder Engagement

PTTGC considers that relationship with stakeholder is an invaluable asset. The relationship with stakeholder is a key element which can result in business success and sustainability. According to Corporate Governance and Code of Conduct Handbook, it identifies clearly that the Corporate Governance Committee functions management by reporting the Company relationships with each group of stakeholders and improving relationships with stakeholders in compliance with good governance principles. The Company commits in the stakeholder rights protection by reflecting the values, expectations, concerns and worries of stakeholders in all of the Company's business plans. These feedbacks from stakeholders are integrated with decision making and implementing procedure in the organization. Issues from stakeholders are used in the materiality assessment presented in the report. PTTGC defines stakeholder groups, both internal and external groups, which have impacts on PTTGC operations into 8 groups, including

1) Shareholders 2) Customers 3) Partners 4) Creditors 5) Government 6) Employees 7) Communities, Society and Environment and 8) NGOs. Communication and engagement forms are different in each stakeholder group due to appropriateness. Identification of stakeholders affected by materiality can be undertaken by collecting data from various channels, both primary and secondary data, from PTTGC business units that have responsibilities in relevance with materiality, for example, receiving materiality from direct stakeholder through engagement channels, as identified in the table below and receiving materiality from attitude survey for customers, employees and communities in alignment with data collection from experts in the Company's business units. Potential stakeholder groups that have impact to PTTGC operations are identified by data.
