    Presentation of InnoPlus Water Tanks to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
    PTT Global Chemical Group presented 1,500-liter InnoPlus water tanks, along with the necessary funding for the construction of their concrete bases, to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sinrindhorn. This charitable donation went to support a project to help store clean water for consumption during both drought and rainy seasons, as well as to provide relief for disaster victims and underprivileged students in rural areas. In addition, we also donated InnoPlus water tanks to governmental agencies, including the 5 Provinces Forest Foundation of the Ministry of Energy to help alleviate drought situations throughout Thailand.

    Olefins 3 Plant’s Turnaround
    PTTGC took the machinery at our Olefins 3 Plant off stream to repair coils in the furnace because we had to order in the necessary parts. The average production capacity of the plant in quarters 2 and 3 were at 84% and 92%, respectively.

    MoU for R&D Collaboration
    PTTGC signed a memorandum of understanding for scientific and technological research and development collaboration between five of our companies and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Technology (VISTEC). This collaboration will enhance our scientific and technological development capabilities while ensuring mutual research excellence.

    Donations to Siriraj’s Underprivileged Patients
    PTTGC and our shareholders donated to Siriraj Hospital’s funds for underprivileged patients. Bio-plastic product samples were given to shareholders who registered for the meeting and made charitable donations to Siriraj Hospital.

    MoU for Plastic Packaging Market Development in Myanmar
    PTTGC signed a memorandum of understanding with S.P. PetPack Co. Ltd. to jointly develop the Myanmar packaging market, focusing on strengthening and preparing operators in the plastic industry for the penetration into CLMV markets.

    Launch of PTTGC Fish Aggregating Devices
    PTTGC, together with the Province of Rayong, the Marine and Coastal Resource Management Office 1, the Rayong Fishery Office, experts, seaside communities and 30 groups of the Association of Local Fishery of Rayong from three districts, namely Mueang, Glaeng and Ban Chang, made 70 fish aggregating devices from ropes. These devices help conserve marine resources and ecosystems in the bay also being as habitats for small marine animals along the coastline of Rayong. These are part of the initiative to revive the marine ecosystem along 120 km of Rayong’s coastline.

    HoA for Specialty Chemical Product Development
    PTTGC signed a heads of agreement with leading Japanese specialty chemical company Kuraray Co. Ltd. and Sumitomo Corp, a Japan-based international trading company with a global network. The HoA proves that together we will perform front-end engineering design (FEED) for the development of manufacturing and sales capabilities for super engineering plastic (high-heat resistant polyamide-9T) and hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (HSBC) products in Thailand.

    PROPAK MYANMAR 2016 for emerging CLMV Market
    PTTGC participated in a business match-making activity between our plastic-industry customers and Myanmar traders in the PROPAK MYANMAR 2016 with an aim to emerging CLMV markets and gain a market share of 30 percent within five years.

    Initial Public Offering of GGC
    Global Green Chemical Public Company Limited, our subsidiary, submitted an IPO application with information disclosure and an invitation draft to the Securities and Exchange Commission. We also submitted a request to trade common shares in the stock market to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. PTTGC remains a majority shareholder with control of GGC after the IPO.

    Establishment of Pracharath Rak Samakkee Rayong (Social Enterprise) Co. Ltd.
    At Board Meeting 11/2016, the board of directors ratified the establishment of PTTGC’s joint venture, Pracharath Rak Samakkee Rayong (Social Enterprise) Co. Ltd., which has been founded to strengthen Rayong’s economy and communities with collaboration from the state, the private sector, academic and civil society organizations.

    Signing the MOU for the Collaborative Campaigns among PTTGC, TRC and TPBI
    PTT Global Chemical PLC, in Collaboration with Thai Red Cross Society and Thai Plastic Bag Industries Group, signed MOU for the campaign of developing blood bag containers and medical plastics. The key objective of this MOU is to investigate and innovate the use of plastics for medical purposes, in lieu of imports. This particular container is equipped with special qualities that prevent evaporation of the liquid inside and prevent chemical reactions against the air to ensure the standard level of concentration and qualities of the liquid. This is considered the first domestically produced container, using LLDPE Metallocene plastic resin, marketed under the brand “InnoPlus”.

    Changes in shareholdings of the Myriant Corporvation
    The Myriant Corporation, a subsidiary of PTT Chemical International Private Limited, has purchased shares from existing shareholders totaling 3,406,569 shares. This resulted in a decrease of issued and outstanding shares, as well as those held by Myriant shareholders. PTTGC now owns a total of 84.77% of the Myriant Corporation.

    The Myriant Corporation, a subsidiary of PTT Chemical International Private Limited, has purchased shares from existing shareholders totaling 3,406,569 shares. This resulted in a decrease of issued and outstanding shares, as well as those held by Myriant shareholders. PTTGC now owns a total of 84.77% of the Myriant Corporation.

    LOI Signing Ceremony Between Sinochem Group and PTTGC
    PTTGC signed the Letter of Intent with Sinochem Group to determine the scope of business collaboration between the two parties. The partnership would encompass the study for collaboration opportunities in the Cracker Downstream Olefins Industry, the provision of technical support, petrochemical development, as well as, the possibilities to establish a joint venture that focuses on marketing research and sales development of premium-grade polymer – including the establishment of a Polymer Development and Service Center in the People's Republic of China.

    MOU Signing Ceremony between CPRAM and PTTGC
    PTTGC agreed to participate in a collaborative project with CPRAM Co., Ltd. to develop innovative packaging, to improve the quality and increase the value of plastic products, helping to best meet market demands and customer expectations. Furthermore, this allows PTTGC to expand its plastic resin business into the packaging industry for both domestic and foreign customers.

    Registered capital in PT Indo Thai Trading (ITT)
    PTT Chemical International Private Limited (CH Inter; a 100% owned subsidiary of PTTGC) registered capital in PT Indo Thai Trading (ITT) with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (Patra Niaga; a 100% owned subsidiary of Pertamina), located in Jakarta, Indonesia. By Patra Niaga owned 51% of PT Indo Thai Trading’s shareholding, while CH Inter owned 49%.

    Issuance and Offering of Bond Debentures (in THB)
    PTTGC issued and offered "Debentures of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited No. 1/2014 due 2021", with a principal amount 10 billion THB. Bearing interest at a rate 4.5% annually. The debentures are unsecured and unsubordinated with a debentures' representative and are issued in a name – registered form.

    PTTGC, Dairy Home Co., Ltd. , and NatureWorks Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of PTTGC proportionate by 50% shareholding, jointly announced the use of bioplastic (PLA) yogurt cup For the first time that have been used in a commercially viable way in Thailand and Asia.

    Change in Shareholding Structure of Vencorex Holding
    PTTGC Internationals (Netherlands) B.V.(a 100% owned subsidiary of PTTGC), has purchased 34% of the registered capital in Vencorex Holding from Perstorp Holding AB and will make PTTGC Group's shareholding in Vencorex change from 51% to 85%.

    Biohub Feasibility Study
    PTTGC signed a Memorandum of Understanding to engage in a Biohub feasibility study in Thailand in collaboration with Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation Public Company Limited, Mitr Phol Group and the Cristalla Company Limited, one of TCC Agro-Industrial. The feasibility study will help determine the establishment of Biohub in Thailand, using feedstock from agricultural processes that can add value to agricultural products. The production of biochemicals and bioplastics will increase energy options and present solutions that are environmentally friendly and sustainable.

    Carbon Footprint Certification
    PTTGC's Olefins Plant I-4 and Oil Refinery was certified for Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR). Furthermore, the Company's Olefins Plant I-4 and Ethylene Plant was certified as Carbon Neutral. These certifications were provided in Sustainability Report 2013 and Annual Report 2013 from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization).

    PTTGC's Olefins Plant I-1 was certified for its Business Continuity Management System that met ISO22301: 2012 standards. Certification was performed by the Management System Certification Institute.

    Opening of Vencorex Holding office in Shanghai
    PTTGC opened its Vencorex Holding office in Shanghai, Republic of China. The office expands the operation's footprint further into the Asia Pacific region. The office will function as a trading company to help meet the needs of its customers in a more efficient way.

    Amalgamation between PTT Utility Company Limited and Independent Power (Thailand) Company Limited
    The completion of amalgamation between PTT Utility Company Limited (PTTUT) and Independent Power (Thailand) Company Limited (IPT) was announced. The new company name is Global Power Synergy Company Limited (GPSC) with initial registered capital of 8.63 billion THB. PTTGC holds 30.31% of shares.

    The Board of Directors of PTTGC at the Meeting No. 4/2013 passed the resolutions to approve the connected transaction regarding the 40% shareholding in PTT Phenol Company Limited (PPCL). This is according to the restructuring policy of PTT groups to make PTTGC as the Petrochemical flagship and take an opportunity to get into high volume specialty business.

    Joint Venture Investment in Auria BioChemical Co.,Ltd.
    PTTGC together with Myriant Corporation co-established Auria BioChemicals Company Limited. PTTGC holds 54% of the shares while Myriant holds 46%. The purpose of this joint venture is to conduct research and development of bio-based chemicals to enhance the Myriant's technology and pave the way towards an investment in a commercial scale production plan in Southeast Asia.

    The acquisition of the entire business of Bangkok Polyethylene Public Company Limited and PTT Polyethylene Company Limited to PTTGC
    At the 2013 PTTGC Annual General Meeting, shareholders approved the entire business transfer of Bangkok Polyethylene Public Company Limited (BPE) and PTT Polyethylene Company Limited (PTTPE) as well as activities in relation to the matter to PTTGC. This is in order to enhance the effectiveness of the management and administration of company within the group.

    The opening ceremony of the Enclosed Ground Flare (EGF), located on Olefin Plant 3 (Ethane Cracker Plant) in Padaeng Industrial Estate and Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU), located on Aromatics 1 Plant in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate and Aromatics 2 Plant in RIL Industrial Estate. The unit is to promote clean technology for better environment of Rayong.

    PTT Chemical International Private Limited (CH Inter), which is a 100% owned by PTTGC, has purchased shares in Myriant Corporation. Consequently, PTTGC holds 72.62% in Myriant. Allowing PTTGC to become the biotechnology research and development center as well as strengthening its fundamentals for commercial production in the future.
